We're back in the studio!! Wind down, calming the nervous system with slow, deep restorative postures ending with a meditative sacred practice of yoga nidra. Option to join in-studio or Zoom, your choice, all classes will be hybrid with a recording emailed after class.

About the Event

Join us in studio or online as we invite the body to come into rest with deeply restorative postures, using a pillow or bolster.  Allowing the nervous system to come down, balanced we then end in a meditative practice of yoga nidra. Coaxing the body into a relaxed state can aid in sleep quality, lowering cortisol levels and reducing stress. 

What you can expect in this class:

  • slow, gentle restorative postures using your bolster/pillow for the first half of class
  • the deepest savasana experience in the form of meditative yoga nidra for the last half of class

What is yoga nidra?

It is an ancient, soulful practice similar to a meditation, which allows the brain to slow into the alpha wave state.  We are naturally in alpha brain twice daily, as we first awake and when we are about to drift off into sleep.  

You can enjoy nidra purely for the physical benefits of sleep improvement, pain management,  adrenal fatigue & stress support, anxiety & depression support.  Or go deeper into the transformative practice of personal growth by addressing our limiting beliefs and rewriting them, creativing your personal sankalpa - your affirmation, resolve or "I am" statement.

No experience necessary.
